3 Cars Stolen From Dealership, 2 Nail Salons Burglarized, 2 Victims Report Robberies: HCPD

Three vehicles were reported stolen from a Jessup dealership and 2 nail salons were burglarized. Two individuals reported robberies: HCPD.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police have made arrests in connection to two robberies that happened in Columbia and Ellicott City last week. Three more businesses across Howard County have been burglarized, too, Howard County Police report.

A man standing near his vehicle was approached by another man in the 7200 block of Oakland Mills Road, Columbia, May 31 around 11 p.m. The suspect demanded the keys to the vehicle, but the vehicle owner took off. Nothing was stolen and police found the suspect, Arthur Lee Tillery, 42, of Jessup and charged him with robbery and assault, according to the Howard County Police Department.

On June 1 around 2:25 p.m., a man reported being approached by a woman and a man who then attempted to steal his jewelry. The incident happened in the 8500 block of Pine Run Court in Ellicott City. Nothing was reported stolen and police found the suspect, Paul Miclescu, 28, of Baltimore and charged him with robbery and destruction of property.

In the overnight hours of June 1-2, Paradise Nails and Spa located in the 8800 block of Gorman Road in Laurel reported being broken into. The suspect(s) gained access to the business by breaking the glass of the front door. Nothing was reported stolen, according to police.

3D Nails & Day Spa located in the 8600 block of Washington Boulevard was broken into the overnight hours of June 2-3. The suspect(s) broke into the business by breaking the front glass door and stole the cash and register.

The suspect(s) made off with a 2020 white Subaru WRX, a 2015 white Mercedes-Benz GLK350 and a 2010 silver Lexus IS 250.
