A construction project along Hale Haven Drive in Ellicott City shouldn't affect traffic and will wrap up next month, officials say.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A construction project designed to improve the existing storm drain adjacent to 4701 Hale Haven Drive in Ellicott City is underway and should wrap up by mid-February.

The project will include the installation of a stone channel and an additional storm drainpipe, as well as grading, in the open field next to 4701 to relieve flooding in the adjacent neighborhood.

The project is not expected to impact the flow of vehicular or pedestrian traffic. Property owners affected by the project will be notified prior to the start date.
