Man Fatally Hit By Box Truck In Laurel: Howard County Police

Howard County Police say a man was hit and killed by a box truck that was backing up in a Laurel lot.

At approximately 9:47 a.m. on Oct. 13, a 2016 Ford Econoline box truck was backing up in a private lot in the 10100 block of Washington Boulevard when it hit a man. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County police are investigating a deadly collision in Laurel that involved a man and a box truck.

At approximately 9:47 a.m. on Oct. 13, a 2016 Ford Econoline box truck was backing up in a private lot in the 10100 block of Washington Boulevard when it hit a man. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police report.

The driver of the box truck remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. No additional information has been released.
