COLUMBIA, MD — When people just can't seem to find a solution to remedy what ails them, they may consider hypnosis as a solution. Others turn instantly to the art of hypnosis, having experienced success with it before.

In Howard County, residents can visit Hypnosis Columbia LLC, owned by Racquel A. Knight, which is located at 5570 Sterrett Place, Suite 310. Knight is a certified hypnotist, a national board-certified health and wellness coach, and an expert in integrative rapid change work and health coaching. She also has a master's degree in health and wellness coaching from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.

As a retired active-duty U.S. Air Force language and information analyst, Knight started Hypnosis Columbia in late 2013.

"We’ve conducted thousands of individual and group hypnosis sessions, helping ordinary people. My mission is to educate and to help others make changes in their lives. We can work as quickly or as slowly as you’d like," Knight said. "We have some really cool rapid change tools at our disposal, including hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming. We create the change and wire in the associated neural networks. We teach you the tools and have powerful sessions."

Hypnosis Columbia has helped individuals reduce and clear medical symptoms, trauma, fear, stress and anxiety; stop smoking; lose weight; release other unhealthy habits; sleep better; perform optimally in work, school, social situations, sports and play; and create more peace, compassion while transforming minds, bodies and spirits, Knight said.
