HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Starting July 9, a resurfacing project will affect drivers northbound on U.S. 29.

At 8 p.m. Sunday, crews will close one travel lane on northbound U.S. 29 between MD 175 and Frederick Road, a span of 3.5 miles, during overnight hours only for the resurfacing work. Work will continue from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, Sundays through Thursdays. The project will require single-lane, shoulder and ramp closures during work hours.

The project should wrap up by the beginning of September, weather permitting.
