Woman Killed, Man Injured In Edgewater Stabbing: Police

EDGEWATER, MD β€” A woman died and a man was injured Friday in a stabbing in Edgewater, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Authorities said the stabbing happened around 5 p.m. at an apartment on South River Road South in Edgewater. When police arrived, they found a man and woman suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The woman, identified as 47-year-old Nancianne Houston of Edgewater, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 58-year-old man was taken to Shock Trauma with serious, life-threatening injuries to his upper body and an extremity, police said.

According to authorities, Houston and the man knew each other and were involved in an altercation when the stabbings took place.

No suspect has been identified and the incident remains under investigation.
