HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The community can attend an informational meeting Aug. 28 to discuss repairs needed to the Mt. Hebron Stormwater Pond.

The meeting will start at 6 p.m. in the Avalon Room at Howard County Library System’s Miller branch, to discuss a project to repair the Mt. Hebron Stormwater Pond located near 2729 Thornbrook Road in Ellicott City.

The project is scheduled to start next fall 2025 and, weather permitting, should finish in the spring of 2026.

The informal meeting will include an overview of the design, followed by an open discussion. County staff and the project’s design consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments. This project is funded through the Watershed Protection and Restoration Fee.
