Annapolis Man Charged With Glen Burnie Victim's Homicide: Police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A man is in custody following a fatal shooting that occurred last month in Anne Arundel County, according to police.

Gregory Lydell Siscoe, 69, of Annapolis is accused of fatally shooting Darius Davon Matthews, 29, of Glen Burnie, police said.

"Homicide detectives have worked tirelessly throughout this investigation," police said in a news release.

On Aug. 26, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers said they responded to the rear of 604 Crain Highway for a report of shots fired.

Once on scene, police said they located Matthews suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a first responder with the Anne Arundel County Fire department.

Police said evidence recovered from the scene indicated Matthews was targeted and there was no ongoing threat to the public.
