2 Havre de Grace Companies Make Fastest-Growing List: Inc.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Two businesses in Havre de Grace are among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, according to a new list released by Inc.com.

The annual list highlights 5,000 of the country’s fastest-growing companies, which are ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The top 500 are then featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine.

Honorees must apply to be selected.

In total, this year’s honorees brought in $248 billion in revenue and added more than 2.5 million jobs to the U.S. economy.

The fastest-growing company in Havre de Grace, according to this year’s list, is Ad hoc Research LLC.

In all, the company grew more than 1,100 percent in the past year.

Ad hoc Research Associates

• Overall Growth: 1,136 percent

Pendant Automation

• Ranked #1,277
• Location: Havre de Grace
• Industry: Engineering
• Overall Growth: 376 percent

At the top of this year’s list is Human Bees, a Lathrop, California-based staffing firm that has found employees for companies including Tesla and FedEx. Overall, the company recorded a year-over-year growth of 48,345 percent.

Companies that have made the list in the past include Pandora, 7-Eleven, Toys R Us, Zipcar and Zappos.com.
