$50K Damage Caused By Fire At Aberdeen Building: Maryland Fire Marshal

A building in Aberdeen sustained $50,000 in damage from a fire that the owner discovered late Wednesday night.

The fire was discovered by the owner around 10:40 p.m. inside the 50x50-foot building located at 1022 North Stepney Road. Approximately 20 firefighters with the Aberdeen Fire Department arrived on the scene and had the fire under control in 30 minutes.

ABERDEEN, MD — A fire broke out in an Aberdeen building late Wednesday night during the storms that swept across the state.

The fire was discovered by the owner around 10:40 p.m. inside the 50x50-foot building located at 1022 North Stepney Road. Approximately 20 firefighters with the Aberdeen Fire Department arrived on the scene and had the fire under control in 30 minutes.

The building sustained $50,000 in damages. The fire is being investigated by the state fire marshal.
