Birds Of The Chesapeake: Placards Now ID Birds Near Lighthouse

Information about the birds near Concord Point Lighthouse is now available.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Bird sculptures were unveiled last summer along the pier near Concord Point Lighthouse.

Placards identifying the specific birds were added earlier this month, according to the Havre de Grace Tourism Advisory Board.

Joseph E. Stebbing carved the wood sculptures, which were officially identified with signage on June 11.

The Public Art Committee and Havre de Grace Arts Collective made the exhibit possible, according to the placard at the entrance to the Concord Point pier.
