Carolyn A. Hargis, 91, Of Havre de Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Carolyn A. Hargis of Havre de Grace passed away on July 25, 2018. She was 91.

Mrs. Hargis was born in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, to Paul W. Angstadt and Gertrude A. Roberts Angstadt. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Perry Hargis Jr. and is survived by one niece, one great-niece and two great-nephews.

Mrs. Hargis loved animals, traveling and volunteering at the Concord Point Lighthouse and Harford County Public Library. She was a member of the American Legion Post 47.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, at Angel Hill Cemetery. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate.
