​Clarence “Bunky” W. Hitchcock Jr., 74, Of Havre de Grace

Clarence “Bunky” W. Hitchcock Jr. of Havre de Grace died Sunday, June 17, at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was 74.

Born in Elkton, he was the son of the late Clarence W. Hitchcock Sr. and Eleanor M. (Huffman) Caldwell.

Mr. Hitchcock was retired from Daneker Sand and Gravel. He attended Rock Run United Methodist Church, was a former member of the Level Volunteer Fire Company and enjoyed farming.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn M. (Brewer) Hitchcock; sons, Bruce R. Hitchcock of Havre de Grace and Dwayne E. Hitchcock of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Christina L. Hitchcock of Abingdon and Katina M. Weaver of Aberdeen; sisters, Shirley M. Workman of Havre de Grace and Shelby J. Graham of Rising Sun; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, James A. Hitchcock and sisters, Bonnie L. Stamper and MaryNell Viars.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, June 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, where a funeral service was held on Thursday, June 21, at 10 a.m. Interment was in Angel Hill Cemetery.
