Crash Closed Tydings Bridge, Led To Rush-Hour Delays

Lanes were temporarily closed on the Tydings Bridge on Wednesday due to a crash, officials said.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — A crash on the Tydings Bridge is slowing traffic near Havre de Grace on Wednesday night.

The collision involved two vehicles on Interstate 95 north near mile marker 91.4, and it happened around 5:20 p.m., according to state transportation officials.

Around 6:20 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported all lanes were closed due to the crash.

By 6:40 p.m., officials said the crash had cleared.

Backups persisted to the exit for MD 155 on I-95 north.
