Enjoy Greek Food At Vandiver Inn's Pop-Up Barbecue On Aug. 30
Attendees can choose from three Greek meals and enjoy sides and dessert. Cost per person is $32 and tickets can be purchased online.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Fans of Greek food in Havre de Grace, take note: Vandiver Inn will host a pop-up Greek barbecue on Aug. 23.
Attendees can choose from a grilled leg of lamb marinated in garlic, lemon and olive oil, tzatziki; chicken souvlaki, tzatziki; or spinach pie. All entrees are gluten free and the spinach pie is vegetarian.
The sides are grilled lemon thyme fingerling potato salad and grilled summer squash with tomatoes and basil. Grilled grapes over lemon semolina cake and whipped mascarpone will be served for dessert.

Tickets for the barbecue, which the inn described on Facebook as "global with a local flair," are $32 per person and include server gratuity. They must be purchased online here. Doors will open for the barbecue at 6:30 p.m. and the dinner will begin at 7 p.m.
A cash bar will be available, and attendees must tell the hotel the names of others in their group to ensure everyone sits together.

The Vandiver Inn will also host SoundBites: "A Night of Mischief, Magic & Mayhem at the Vandiver" on Oct. 28. The event is described on the inn's website as "a live music and food mix with Rogue Swan Theater."
