HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Funeral arrangements have been made for Havre de Grace firefighter David Lee Starr, who was found dead three days after he was reported missing March 14 by friends and family.

Starr, 54, had been with the Susquehanna Hose Company since 1993 and was an active member of Division 2 at the time of his disappearance.

Services will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, 333 S Parke St. in Aberdeen.

"Please continue to keep the Starr family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time," the Susquehanna Hose Company said on its Facebook page.

Starr was last seen in the 600 block of Erie Street. He had told family he was headed to the Susquehanna State Park. The Havre de Grace Police Department said he was found dead Sunday afternoon.

No additional details about his death have been released and it is still being investigated by the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
