Harford Memorial Hospital Limits Visitors Amid COVID-19 Surge

With limited exceptions, Harford Memorial Hospital has enacted a policy restricting visitors.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Harford Memorial Hospital is no longer allowing visitors, officials announced Tuesday.

"For the safety of our patients and staff, no visitors are currently permitted at Harford Memorial," Upper Chesapeake Health said in a statement.

  • End-of-life/hospice
  • Care partners for those with disabilities
  • Approved faith-based visitors
  • Those asked by clinical team to assist in discharge planning

Upper Chesapeake Health declared a hospital disaster on Christmas Eve, after a 458 percent increase in coronavirus cases across Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air and Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace.
