A crash slowed traffic Monday night on the Hatem Bridge, which connects Harford and Cecil counties via US 40.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. on eastbound Route 40, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

As officials responded, the right lane was closed.
