HdG 2022 Election: Voting Venue, Candidates, Sample Ballot

Here's where to vote and more on the Havre de Grace election.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace municipal election will be Tuesday, May 3.

Three candidates are up for three seats on the Havre de Grace City Council:

  • Casi Boyer
  • Jim Ringsaker
  • Tammy Lynn Schneegas

The first two candidates on the ballot are incumbents, while Schneegas is a newcomer.

Voting is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at the former Havre de Grace High School gymnasium at 700 Congress Avenue in Havre de Grace.

The Ontario-Otsego Positive Action Committee, or OPACC, hosted its annual candidates forum on April 27. While this year is an uncontested election, the organization continued its tradition of moderating a forum with those running for mayor and council.

For public safety, organizers held the event virtually. It was streamed live on the city's YouTube channel.
