To honor veterans, the American Legion in Havre de Grace held a parade through the city.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Patriotic music played through the speakers in downtown Havre de Grace, where people lined Saint John and Washington streets to show their support for veterans, some waving American flags.

The Havre de Grace Veterans Day Parade began around 1:15 p.m. Thursday and lasted around 20 minutes. It started at Hutchins Park and ended at the American Legion Joseph L. Davis Post 47.

Participants took a route from Congress Avenue down Washington Street to Saint John Street.

Afterward, the American Legion Joseph L. Davis Post 47 provided light fare for veterans at 501 St John St.
