MacGregor's Gives Free Food To Police Tuesday

A restaurant in Havre de Grace is treating police to lunch in honor of a fallen Baltimore officer.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A restaurant in Havre de Grace is offering a free meal to police on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

MacGregor's is providing free lunch to the Havre de Grace Police Department.

The offer, which lasts all day and includes up to $15, is a way of thanking police for their service to the community and honoring Officer Keona Holley. The 39-year-old Baltimore police officer was gunned down before Christmas in south Baltimore near Curtis Bay. Two people have been charged in her death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for the fallen policewoman at the Baltimore Convention Center, attended by many, including Gov. Larry Hogan and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott.

Another Harford County restaurant is also treating police to free meals Tuesday.

Looney's Pub is giving police officers complimentary food in honor of Officer Holley as well. Looney's Pub is at 312 S. Main Street in Bel Air.
