Manufacturer To Bring 235 Jobs To Havre de Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A manufacturing facility will open in Havre de Grace, bringing with it 225 jobs, according to a spokesperson for Gov. Larry Hogan.

Elite Comfort Solutions will be at 1900 Clark Road, where Dart Container used to be. It will make specialty foam for furniture and bedding, officials say.

It is a "huge gain for our state's manufacturing industry and the local economy in Harford County," Hogan said in a statement.

Dart Container closed its Havre de Grace and Hampstead facilities in 2020 to move its manufacturing operations to Delaware, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The Elite Comfort Solutions plant, which will make things like Advanced Memory Foam, is expected to generate 225 jobs by 2025.
