Coast Guard Offers Maryland Boating Safety Course

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers this essential boating course at the HdG Maritime Museum next month.

This course, offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, satisfies requirements for operating a vessel in MD waters, and a MD Department of Natural Resources Certificate of Boating Safety Education will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this course.

Instructors teach two sessions, on February 20 & 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days, followed by a test (attendance on both days is required). The class will be held at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, 100 Lafayette St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
