New Date For HdG Carnival Announced
The Havre de Grace Carnival on the Chesapeake at Tydings Park will be at the end of October.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Carnival on the Chesapeake was postponed due the forecast in September as what was then Hurricane Florence approached. Now, the Havre de Grace Independence Commission announced the new dates for the event.
The Havre de Grace Carnival on the Chesapeake will be from Thursday, Oct. 25, to Sunday, Oct. 28.
Here are the hours for the festivities:

- 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25
- 5-10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26
- 3-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27
- Noon-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28
Armbands will be available at the event for $25 allowing unlimited rides. An armband for unlimited rides during the entire event will be $50 until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24. People can buy tickets online for $20 for a day of unlimited rides in advance.
The Carnival on the Chesapeake will be at Tydings Park, 321 Commerce Street, Havre de Grace.
