Road Reopens After Cecil County Crash

A serious crash closed Principio Parkway in Cecil County, according to authorities.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — A crash investigation in Cecil County Thursday morning temporarily closed the road.

As of noon, the Cecil County Sheriff's Office reported Principio Parkway had reopened.

Before 11 a.m., authorities said Principio Parkway was closed to all traffic due to a serious crash and investigation.

"If you are scheduled to work at any of the businesses here please call your employers to find out when the road is reopened," the Cecil County Sheriff's Office advised. "No traffic is currently being let out at this time due to the location of the crash," the sheriff's office reported after 11 a.m.
