Thailek J. Willis, 19, Of Edgewood

A memorial service was held in Havre de Grace Friday for the 19-year-old killed outside Edgewood High School.

Thailek J. Willis of Edgewood passed away on Friday, Aug. 3. He was 19.

Born in Baltimore to James B. and Dadrian L. (Jacobs) Willis, he was the loving brother to Tajhon Willis. He leaves behind to cherish his memory grandparents Barbara Edwards, Sidney and Doris Willis; uncles Tyrone (Manuela) Willis, Derek (Chanin) Smart and Wesley Jacobs; aunts Tiffaney (Walter) Evans and Ebony (Antonio) Simpson; 23 first cousins; and a host of family members, all who dearly love him.

He was predeceased by his Uncles Jerome Willis and Sidney Willis Jr.

A viewing was held on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lisa Scott Funeral Home, 552 Lewis St, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.

A viewing was also held on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 520 Lewis Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, where a funeral service was held at 11 a.m.

Officiating was Pastor James C. Williams Sr.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make contributions to the Willis Family via the Lisa Scott Funeral Home, 552 Lewis Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.

Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.
