Unattended Brush Fire Ignites Nearby Camping Trailer: Maryland State Fire Marshal

An unattended brush fire caught a nearby camping trailer on fire Sunday afternoon, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A brush fire that ignited Sunday shortly after 5:30 p.m. quickly spread to a nearby camping trailer.

Around 20 firefighters with the Susquehanna Hose Company arrived on the scene and had the fire extinguished within 20 minutes. The brush fire was left unattended at 230 Lapidum Rd., according to the state office of the fire marshal, and caught the camping trailer on fire.
