BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A group of former employees at a Baltimore County staffing agency have filed a lawsuit against the company accusing their former employer of wage theft, according to court documents obtained by the Baltimore Sun.

The lawsuit filed Tuesday claims that Mary Kraft and Associates Inc., its president and its New York-based parent company violated Maryland’s wage payment and collection law by not paying employees thousands of dollars in promised monthly sales incentives, the Sun reported.

The lawsuit also accuses the staffing agency of wrongfully terminating a worker after they complained about the unpaid wages, the report said.
