The Sears in Cockeysville is reportedly on a new list of 20 locations slated for closing.

COCKEYSVILLE, MD — As Sears continues efforts to cut costs and streamline its brick-and-mortar presence, the company has reportedly slated 20 more stores for closing. One of those locations is in Baltimore County.

Cockeyville's store at 126 Shawan Road is one of two Maryland locations on the latest list of impending closures. The other is at 17318 Valley Mall Road in Hagerstown.

The retailer in the Hunt Valley Town Centre will start its liquidation sale June 30 before the location shutters in mid-September, WBAL Radio reported.
