Funeral Arrangements Set for Officer Killed in Crash

The Prince George's County Police Department has released information on services planned for Brennan Rabain, who died Saturday.

Funeral arrangements have been announced for Prince George’s County Police Officer Brennan Rabain, 26, who died in a car crash Saturday.

Rabain was driving his girlfriend home Saturday morning when a speeding car flew past the cruiser, prompting the officer to pursue, and fatally crash into a wooden fence in the 9500 block of Greenbelt Road in Lanham.

A viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Road in Beltsville.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at Victory Christian Ministries, 3911 Saint Barnabas Road in Temple Hills. Internment will immediately follow the service at Lakemount Memorial Park Cemetery, 900 West Central Ave. in Davidsonville.

A lunch will then be held at FOP 89, 2905 Old Largo Road in Upper Marlboro.

A memorial fund for Rabain’s family has been set up online on GoFundMe.com. As of Tuesday afternoon, about $12,600 had been donated.
