Hyattsville Arts & Ales Festival To Return In September

The tenth annual Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival is returning September 23 with over 100 artists, food vendors and live performances.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — The tenth annual Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival is returning September 23. The largest yearly arts event in the Gateway Arts District marks its decade of existence with Eats, "Arts and Ales."

The festival, held by Hyattsville Community Development Corporation and the Brewers Association of Maryland, will return to their three-block site in downtown Hyattsville from 12-6 p.m. September 23.

The free, all-ages celebration will feature over 100 artists and artisans, food vendors, Maryland craft brewers, live performing arts and more.

Beer tasting passes will be available in advance online for $25, and to purchase at the gate for $30. The tasting pass includes samples from all attending breweries and meaderies, a signature BAM sampling glass and the ability to purchase beer to-go or to fill a growler.

Event planners anticipate over 5,000 visitors. Structured, metered parking and limited free municipal-parking will be available for visitors in designated lots. Directions, parking information, and more details will also be available online.

All participants will be announced in early September. Interested and returning applicants to exhibit should visit the festival’s application page.Food vendor and food truck applications will be announced via the festival mailing list and online. Maryland Brewers are directed to apply via the Brewers’ Association of Maryland.
