Olive Garden says it will sell 1,000 of the $100 individual Pasta Passes starting Thursday at 2 p.m.

By KAREN WALL:

If you’re a regular at the Olive Garden, the restaurant chain has a special you won’t want to miss: the chain is bringing back its “Pasta Pass” that gives you unlimited pasta for seven weeks. The passes go on sale Thursday afternoon.

There’s an added wrinkle: This year, you can purchase a pass that allows friends and family to join in the pasta consumption, too.

Olive Garden says it will sell 1,000 of the $100 individual Pasta Passes starting Thursday at 2 p.m. ET on its website. It will also sell 1,000 family Pasta Passes, which will cost $300 and let cardholders bring along up to three guests.

Last year, the individual passes sold out in 45 minutes, according to an NBC News report.

The passes will let people mix and match from a selection of sauces and pastas, including a gluten-free variety, and include unlimited soft drinks and, as with other Olive Garden meals, unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks.

The passes are good from Oct. 5 through Nov. 22, according to the Olive Garden website.
