Prince George's County Sheriff: Deputies Arrest Robbery Suspect

The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Marcus Deion Jenkins on July 22, 2021.

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Marcus Deion Jenkins on July 22, 2021, on a warrant for Robbery obtained by county police on October 8, 2020.

According to the warrant, on September 26th, detectives learned that Jenkins had entered a store in the 6100 Block of Marlboro Pike, in District Heights, MD. Once inside, Jenkins was alleged to have walked behind the counter and began to put items in a bag. Jenkins fled the scene before police arrived.

On July 22nd, deputies determined that Jenkins could be located at an address in the 2300 block of Brooks, Dr. in Suitland, MD. Upon arrival, deputies knocked on the door and identified Jenkins. He was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Jenkins is also charged with Theft $100 To Under $1,500
