Located at 4501 Woodbury Street, Riverdale Park, MD, 20737, the 8500 sq. ft. site will house a total of nine independent culinary vendors between the food hall and ghost kitchen spaces, plus a sleek wrap-around bar and indoor/outdoor seating for more than 175 guests. In addition to providing an exciting new amenity for tenants of The Residences at Riverdale Park, Prince George’s County’s latest and greatest dining destination will offer delicious and accessible options for the tens of thousands of people who live, work and study in the area. The food hall will also serve as a necessary pit stop on the four mile hiker/biker trail, the Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail, being built next to The Residences, which begins north of College Park and runs parallel alongside Rhode Island Avenue to The District.

Recognizing The Station’s strategic location along Route 1 and highly-engaged community with a voracious appetite for quality dining options, HHQ plans to bring talented culinary creators from the mid-Atlantic region and beyond to The Station’s forthcoming food hall and ghost kitchen. Through thoughtful curation and enticing activations, local residents, students, commuters and visitors alike will enjoy the opportunity to experience artisanal concepts from a diverse range of chefs and restaurateurs.

“It is with great pleasure that we embark on this new relationship with Calvin Cafritz Enterprises and the residents of Riverdale Park,” said HHQ founding partner and co-CEO, Akhtar Nawab. “With its excellent public amenities, open outdoor spaces and pedestrian walkways, our forthcoming food hall will join The Station’s outstanding efforts to serve the local community as well as its neighbors in Arlington, Baltimore and Washington D.C. by offering a range of exciting dining options.”

As the name implies, Hospitality HQ is dedicated to providing high quality hospitality at all levels, prioritizing the comfort, security and wellbeing of their guests as well as their tenants. At The Station at Riverdale Park, HHQ’s presence will be evident through the food hall’s thoughtful design, including spacious indoor/outdoor dining areas, integrated takeout and delivery technology, a designated contactless pick-up station, and more. A veteran operator of renowned food halls and independent restaurants, including Inner Rail Food Hall in Omaha, Dr. Murphy’s Food Hall in Chicago, innovative Mexican concepts Alta Calidad in Brooklyn and Otra Vez in New Orleans, and new American eatery Prather’s On the Alley in Washington, D.C., HHQ is committed to bringing quality food, an immersive experience, and genuine hospitality to The Station at Riverdale Park.

“At The Station we remain committed to enriching the neighborhood with original retail concepts, lively public programming and activated outdoor spaces for the community to safely enjoy together,” said Jane Cafritz of Calvin Cafritz Enterprises. “The addition of Hospitality HQ’s latest concept allows us to continue to cultivate this vibrant area with an array of new and unique dining experiences.”

The first phase of The Station at Riverdale Park opened in April 2017 with the mixed-use development’s anchor tenant and Prince George’s County first-ever Whole Foods Market. The forthcoming food hall and ghost kitchen will amplify the property’s robust range of existing retail offerings, including Denizens Brewing Co, the Maryland-based Production Brewery, Taproom and Restaurant, first-to-market Bella Lifestyle Nail Salon and Spa, as well as Burtons Grill & Bar, College Park Physical Hand Rehabilitation, District Taco, FedEx Office, Gold’s Gym, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Old Line Bank, Mod Pizza, Starbucks, The Habit Burger Grill and xfinity.

Vendors interested in applying for commercial space within The Station’s new food hall or ghost kitchen are encouraged to reach out to HHQ directly, and can do so by emailing Founding Partner Akhtar Nawab at [email protected]. Vendors will benefit from the financial and promotional incentives that come with operating within a food hall, including lower startup costs, shared expenses, heightened visibility and marketing support, and more.
