Storm Threat in Prince George's County Tuesday Afternoon
Storms are expected to arrive in the area in the late afternoon, bringing the potential for strong winds and hail.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for parts of Maryland, including Prince George’s County, for Tuesday afternoon and evening.
According to the Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast and possess the potential to develop into severe storms by the time they arrive.
“Damaging wind gusts and large hail are the primary threats,” the NWS warned residents in its weather outlook.
