The Washington Capitals are joining several hockey rinks in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia to participate in USA Hockey’s 5th Annual Try Hockey for Free Day Saturday, Nov. 8.

Presented by Kraft, the event will kick off the NHL and USA Hockey’s 4th Annual “Come Play Hockey Month,” which takes place throughout the month of November. The Capitals join more than 500 rinks across the country that invite children ages 4 to 9 to “Try Hockey for Free.” Clinics aimed to help kids experience ice hockey for the first time will help participants learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment.
