ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A Maryland Lottery player recently won $1 million on a scratch-off in Severn. A bartender also scored $30,000 in Glen Burnie. These were some of the biggest prizes won or claimed last week in Anne Arundel County.

The Severn victory was the jackpot on the Show Me $1,000,000 scratcher. That $20 game, which debuted last April, has two top prizes remaining.

The lottery did not identify the winner. The player bought their ticket at 7-Eleven #25410, located at 500 Donaldson Ave.

The bartender's win in Glen Burnie was also a jackpot. Her victory came on a $3 Diamond Bingo ticket sold at Xpress Mart, situated at 7760 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.

The 59-year-old originally thought she only won $30, but the frequent player was in disbelief when she realized the true scale of her prize.
