Anne Arundel County Fair Weekend: When to Go, Where and Ticket Info

The 2015 fair wraps up Sunday, Sept. 20, with food, rides, 4-H exhibits, contests, bands and more food.

Enjoy one last dose of summer at the 2015 Anne Arundel County Fair, which runs through Sunday, Sept. 20.

The event held at 1450 General’s Highway (Route 178) in Crownsville dates back to 1953. The fair includes carnival rides and games, animal exhibits, monster trucks, pony rides, garden tractor pulls, pig races, pie-eating contests, hamster ball and camel rides, and more.

Highlights on Friday include: Pig races at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., antique tractor pull at 6 p.m., and Dance Night with Oracle from 7 to 10:30 p.m.

Saturday’s events include: Cutest Kid Contest at 9:15 a.m., kids’ tug-of-war with Baysox Louie and the Oriole Bird at 11 a.m., pie-eating contest at 3:30 p.m., and New Odyssey Band at 8 p.m.

On Sunday check out: Patriotic Contest at 10 a.m., the Reggie Rice comedy and magic show at 12:30 a.m., watermelon-eating contest at 2 p.m., Center Ring Circus school show at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m., and Rickshaw Lizard Band at 5:30 p.m.

The carnival and midway opens at 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. on Saturday, and noon on Sunday.

Among this year’s new offerings is the Beer and Wine Garden located between the Commercial Building and the Upper Stage.

  • Friday, Sept. 18, 4-11 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 19, 9 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 20, 9 a.m.-8 p.m

Admission (Includes Parking):

  • Age 16 and over, $7
  • Age 6-15, $5
  • Age 5 and younger, free
