Anne Arundel County Fair: When to Go, Where and How to Get Tickets

The 2015 fair kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 16, with rides, 4-H exhibits and free admission for military members and seniors on different days.

The 2015 Anne Arundel County Fair kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 16, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 20.

The event held at 1450 General’s Highway (Route 178) in Crownsville dates back to 1953. The fair includes carnival rides and games, animal exhibits, monster trucks, pony rides, garden tractor pulls, pig races, pie-eating contests, hamster ball and camel rides, and more.

Crowd-pleasers include the Arundel’s Got Talent competition on Thursday night, Dance Night with Oracle on Friday, the New Odyssey Band on Saturday night, and a patriotic contest on Sunday morning. Find the full schedule of events on the fair website.

Among this year’s new offerings is the Beer and Wine Garden located between the Commercial Building and the Upper Stage.

  • Wednesday, Sept. 16, 4-11 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m-11 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 18, 4-11 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 19, 9 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 20, 9 a.m.-8 p.m

Admission (Includes Parking):

  • Age 16 and over, $7
  • Age 6-15, $5
  • Age 5 and younger, free

Special Admissions:

  • Wednesday - September 16: Free entry to children 12 and younger with a paying adult; and free entry to scouts in uniform with paying adult.
  • Thursday - September 17: Until 3 p.m. free entry to children 12 and younger with a paying adult; also free admission for active and retired military with ID; free entry for senior citizens ages 55 over and the disabled
