Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is accepting applications for its 2022 summer internship program for college students. The initiative will provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills while gaining real-world experience in a professional work environment. The 10-week summer program, June 1 to August 9, will consist of on-the-job experience, leadership development, and networking skills.

“This internship program will help foster and develop the future workforce in the aviation industry,” said Ricky Smith, Executive Director of BWI Marshall Airport. “Our interns will gain important knowledge and experience that will help guide the students and prepare them for successful careers.”

Ten internship positions are available. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university. Students are required to have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher to qualify and must be able to complete and pass all pre-employment screenings. The internship program will offer a salary of $20.15 per hour.

The application process is open until February 28, 2022. The review and interview process will occur in March and April. Internship applications for summer 2022 are now available on the BWI Marshall Airport website at https://www.bwiairport.com/jobs/internships.
