Bicyclist Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash In Odenton: Police
A 26-year-old bicyclist died after a hit-and-run crash in Odenton, police said. Officers don't know who hit her. Detectives asked for tips.
ODENTON, MD — A bicyclist died days after a vehicle hit her in an Odenton hit-and-run crash, police said.
Officers identified the victim as 26-year-old Adriana Yeslendy Suarez Saavedra of Odenton.
Authorities said she died last Wednesday.

The crash happened July 8 on Annapolis Road near Town Center Boulevard, police said.
Officers said the vehicle hit her while she was riding on eastbound Annapolis Road and crossing the bridge over the train tracks.

Authorities said a passerby reported finding the injured bicyclist around 5:30 that morning. Police don't know how long the victim was lying in the roadway before she was found.
Officers said the Anne Arundel County Fire Department took her to a nearby hospital, where she died 11 days later.
The unknown vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction, authorities said.
