Crooked Crab first opened its 2,200-square-foot bar in 2018. Soaring windows in the original taproom overlook the brewhouse, which spans about 4,000 square feet.

The brewery has become an Odenton staple over the past five years, making it popular enough to expand.

Crooked Crab leased the neighboring storefront and started renovating its 8,700-square-foot addition.

That expansion added a pizza kitchen, bringing food in-house, and installed three more fermenters, boosting the brewery's production capacity by a third. Crooked Crab also built the infrastructure to double its production capacity down the line.

Customers can learn more about the project in this Patch story.

The pizza kitchen is open from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday. Its weekend hours are noon to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

The taproom is open Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Saturday hours are noon to 10 p.m., and the Sunday hours are noon to 8 p.m.

Crooked Crab is located at 8251 Telegraph Road, Suite D. Patrons can contact the brewery by calling (443) 569-9187 or emailing [email protected].
