Burger Restaurant Closes Only Anne Arundel County Location

A burger restaurant closed its only Anne Arundel County location. The eatery was known for its organic patties and cage-free chicken.

GAMBRILLS, MD — A burger joint closed recently after 11 years in Gambrills.

Elevation Burger, located in the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, was closed when Patch visited on July 18. That was the eatery's only Anne Arundel County location.

The national fast-casual chain is known for its 100 percent organic and grass-fed beef. The company also says it uses cage-free chicken. The fries were cooked in healthier olive oil.

The milkshakes were another staple. There were also vegetarian burgers and vegan shakes.

Elevation Burger opened in May 2013 at 1403 South Main Chapel Way Suite 103. It neighbored Red Robin.

The chain's two remaining Maryland locations are in Aberdeen and Hyattsville.

Patch contacted Elevation Burger's public relations team for a comment, but they didn't immediately reply. We will update this story if they respond.
