New Gym Opens In Anne Arundel County, Offers Indoor Pool + Group Classes

SEVERN, MD — A new gym opened recently in Anne Arundel County. The facility, LA Fitness, is situated in Severn just off Interstate 97.

Members can swim in the indoor pool, work out solo or take group classes. Those classes include cycling, Zumba, aqua fit, kickboxing cardio and yoga.

The fitness club has dedicated trainers on-site. It also offers a daycare to watch children while parents exercise.

The gym, which opened last month, is the 21st LA Fitness in Maryland. It's also the third location in Anne Arundel County. The other two are in Gambrills and Pasadena.

The Severn facility is located in The Shoppes At Quarterfield next to Aldi. The address is 7858-A Quarterfield Road.

The club's hours are:

• Monday through Thursday: 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Friday: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
