Man Shot At Party In Anne Arundel County: Police

A man was shot at a party in Anne Arundel County, police said. Detectives are searching for clues.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A man was shot and hospitalized this weekend in Anne Arundel County, police said. He's expected to survive. Detectives are still searching for clues in the shooting.

Officers said they were called to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie around 11 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities said they met with a 21-year-old man, who reported that he was shot at a party near Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. He couldn't provide an exact location for the party.

Police said a 911 caller reported an "unknown disturbance" around 10:30 p.m. that night in Glen Burnie near Dorsey Road and Digiulian Boulevard.

That's located just outside BWI Airport. There was no threat at the airport.

Officers said they searched the area but didn't find a crime scene or any witnesses. There have not yet been any arrests or details on a potential suspect.
