New Counseling, Addiction Recovery Center Opens In Gambrills

GAMBRILLS, MD — A new office will offer therapy, counseling and addiction treatment in Anne Arundel County. The Gambrills facility is a partnership between My Empowering Impact and Rosie's Recovery Center.

The women-owned businesses held their joint grand-opening ceremony on March 26. Officials in attendance included:

• County Executive Steuart Pittman
• Sheriff Jim Fredericks
• District 4 County Councilman Andrew Pruski
• District 33 Sen. Ed Reilly
• District 33 Del. Heather Bagnall
• District 33 Del. Rachel Muñoz

"Thank you for all you do to keep our communities and constituents whole and healthy," Bagnall said on Facebook. "We wish you many years of success."

The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce was also on hand to welcome its members.

"They had a fabulous Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony," the chamber wrote on Facebook. "We were proud to be included in their special day."

Sadé Marie, CEO and founder of My Empowering Impact, thanked everybody for their support.

"There was so much LOVE poured into me yesterday that I left the event feeling thankful and full," the social worker posted. "Thank you for the gifts, the packages, the flowers, the plants, the cards, the edible arrangements, the prayers, the calls, the texts, the well wishes, the LOVE."

My Empowering Impact, also known as M.E. Impact, handles everything from couples counseling to therapy and medication management.

Yolanda Hayes, owner of Rosie's Recovery Center, specializes in substance abuse treatment and relapse prevention.

The businesses share space at 325 Gambrills Road, Suite A. Hayes posted a tour of the 3,500-square-foot site at this link.
