Outdoor Meade Steel Drum Band Concert

The Meade High School Music Department is proud to present an evening of Steel Drum Music on Wednesday, May, 11th from 6-8PM. The concert will be held outdoors (weather permitting) adjacent to the portable classrooms at Meade Senior High School, 1100 Clark Rd, Fort Meade, MD 20755. The primary entrance to Meade High School is off Annapolis Rd, Route 175 in Severn, MD.

The Meade Steel Drum Band was founded by the current Meade High School Music Director, Mr Alex Scott. The ensemble, in its third year, has proven wildly successful, and the results are pretty incredible. Join us and experience a taste of the Islands right here in Maryland.

Admission is $2. Tickets will be available at the gate. Lawn chairs are recommended. Concessions to include BBQ sandwiches and mac-n-cheese will be available for purchase, as will CDs and t-shirts. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held indoors. Donations are welcome, and support the Meade Music Program.
