Snow Wednesday Night Before the Blizzard

There's more than a foot of snow on the way, but we're going to get a night of an inch or less that will make some roads slick.

We’re preparing for this weekend’s blizzard event, with more than a foot of snow expected across the region. But, before we get there, we’ll have a layer of snow on the ground Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow from 6 p.m. Wednesday until midnight.

A coating to an inch of of snow is expected.

Roads this evening will be snow covered and slippery, and this will make traveling hazardous, according to the weather service.

Drivers should be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.
