Driver Hit, Killed Bicyclist and Fled Scene: Police

Prince George's County Police are seeking witnesses who saw the crash that killed Donna Clark of Forestville.

Authorities are asking witnesses to come forward who saw a hit-and-run accident Friday night that killed a Prince George’s County bicyclist.

The crash was reported just before 11 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Ritchie Road in Capitol Heights. The Prince George’s County Police say Donna Holliday Clark, 56, of Ritchboro Road in Forestville suffered critical injuries and later died at a hospital.

It appears Clark was on her bike heading southbound on Ritchie Road when a car struck her from behind. That car is described as a black or dark-colored car, possibly a Dodge Charger.

The vehicle driver fled the scene. Investigators believe the car has minor front-end damage.
