Landover Woman Dies in Crash with Tow Truck

Prince George's County Police say a 91-year-old woman died from injuries suffered when the car she was riding in collided with a tow truck.

Authorities have released the name of an elderly woman who died in a three-vehicle weekend crash in Camp Springs.

Prince George’s County Police say Yvonne Jones Marshall, 91, of the 1000 block of Brightseat Road in Landover died June 21. She was a passenger in a car that crashed about 2:30 p.m. June 20 in the 5800 block of Allentown Road.

None of the other drivers or passengers involved in the accident appears to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe a tow truck struck Marshall’s car as the car pulled out of a parking lot onto Allentown Road. The third vehicle then struck the back of the truck.
